We're looking for a rockstar HVAC Service Technician to…

  • Deliver high-quality service, maintenance, and troubleshooting for residential HVAC systems.
  • Respond to service requests, diagnosing and resolving performance issues quickly and effectively.
  • Perform tune-ups, system checks, and preventative maintenance to ensure long-term reliability.
  • Record all service work in our CRM system and provide feedback to improve team processes and training.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining system performance and service recommendations.
  • Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure every customer has a seamless experience.
  • Provide insight into equipment performance, maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to company standards and uphold the safety, professionalism, and customer service that Sandbox Solar is known for.

We need someone with…

  • 2–4 years of HVAC service experience.
  • An EPA Universal Certification (required)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, especially with heat pumps and residential HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication especially when it comes to our customers
  • A strong sense of pride in the quality of work they produce
  • Trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while still collaborating well with the team.
  • Tech-forward experience using tablets, apps, and CRM tools (Airtable is a plus).
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean record.
  • Bonus points for NATE or manufacturer certifications

This will NOT be the right opportunity for those who …

  • Struggle to manage their own service calls or follow through on commitments.
  • Don’t want to be hands-on in the field solving real problems.
  • Avoid working outdoors in Colorado’s unpredictable weather.
  • Can’t communicate clearly with both teammates and customers.

Pay Range: $28–$32/hr depending on experience

This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week, and includes field and office work across Northern Colorado.We expect to have this job posted until End of March 2026
