Solar Technician

Fort Collins, CO

Right about now, you could be asking yourself where we came up with the name Sandbox Solar. You could say it's because when we were little kids, we were the ones wanting to be outside playing in the sandbox instead of watching TV and playing video games. You could say it's because we borrowed the term from the world of software, where "sandbox" is an environment in which you can test and try new things. And you could say it's because solar panels are made of silicon which is basically sand. We think the name fits us well!

Our growth has kept us in the hiring mode, and we are seeking hard-working, dedicated installers with the skills and experience to hit the ground running. We’re looking for experienced solar installers who may have the capability and ambition to potentially grow into a management role within our company. But we’re also willing to train candidates who have solid construction-related experience, a great work ethic, and the motivation to learn and grow with us.
